Over the years I’ve been asked to do a few design lay outs for albums, or create album art for use. Typically, I’m working with the vision of the musicians and I do what I absolutely can to meet their needs on the project.

For Metropolis, Rich provided all of the photos he wanted to have used for the album. I helped do some photo editing in Photoshop, layout in InDesign, and set-up with Discmakers for digital and print distribution. I also made sure he had the appropriate digital file for Spotify, Apple, Google Play, etc. He wanted it to have a little bit of an otherworldly look sort of a Super-Man vibe. Walter Simonsen’s 5 Trumpets and Rhythm Section debut album. He had a very specific vision for what he wanted the typology and look to be here. Did all of the design, layout, and work to get digital distribution.
