Lakota Story

This year I shared a Lakota story to help inspire my band and orchestra to work together, to practice, and to always do their best. Michelle’s illustration serves as a constant reminder of these themes. We proudly used the image on a poster and on cards accompanying small gifts. Michelle was a pleasure to work with. I reached out to Michelle in August to see if she could create a sketch of a photograph for a birthday gift. Her response time was fast, and she asked me plenty of questions to ensure that she knew exactly what I wanted. After a really short wait time, Michelle send me the sketch via text so that I could choose which media to print it to. The end product couldn’t have turned out any better! Michelle perfectly captured intricate details from the photograph - leaving the recipient speechless!
